Stella was so sweet and amazing! She took the time to do a proper consult before getting started, really understanding what I like and don't like about my hair and the inspo pics. She was very knowledgeable and outlined the pros and cons of the haircut I was asking for so I had realistic expectations about the maintenance of it. For the first time ever, I left a hair salon actually loving my hair. The way she styled/did my final blow dry showed she really understood how my hair works and what I wanted. She also taught me how to maintain my hair at home so that I could still get the same results. Stella was so mindful of me as a client - checking in on me, offering reassurances because she understands making big changes to your hair can be anxiety-inducing for some people (i.e. you either love it or hate it) - this is something I've never seen or heard at a hair salon. It was a wonderful experience. I've officially found my hairdresser and will be coming back.

My wife, 2 girls and I have been getting our hair done with Stella for over 10years. My hair is really hard to cut and I'm extremely fussy. Everytime I get my hair cut, I can fall asleep and when I wake up she never disappoints. Since she's opened her own shop I think the price is really fair. Thank you Stella!

I have been with Stella for years. She always patient and listen to my needs. She will give hair advices based on your lifestyle and make sure it can be easily maintained on a day to day basis that will suit your lifestyle. I love her because it is all the small details that she pays attention to, no matter is styling, haircut, color etc..People here also talk about the head massage..yes! Her head massage is even better than many masseuse that I have been..anyway, there is many good things I can say about Stella..but once you are with Stella, it will be very hard for you to go to other hairdresser as you will become very picky..Be aware of that!

I’ve been going to Stella Hair for a while now and have always loved the results, but this time I left feeling really disappointed. I showed Stella a photo of the silvery, ash-toned hair I wanted, but she ended up making my hair a bright, blonde color that was far from what I asked for. I thought maybe it would settle after a couple of weeks and tried using purple shampoo to tone it down to the ash color I wanted, but it didn’t work. When I went back to express that I wasn’t happy and still wanted the silver/grey tone, she offered to redo the toner but insisted on charging me $89 for a blow wave. I even said I didn’t need the blow wave, but she refused to do it without it, telling me, “this is my offer.” I find this really disappointing, especially after paying $500 for a color that wasn’t what I wanted in the first place. The lack of care and customer service was shocking. I expected more, especially as a loyal client, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning. Photos: what my is vs what I wanted:
